Coulthard: Red Bull Made Me Enjoy F1

David Coulthard claims that life at Red Bull Racing has made him enjoy Formula One once again after his recent experiences at McLaren

Although the Scotsman has not been challenging for victories this year or even finished on the podium, he believes that his decision to join Red Bull Racing has more than justified his decision to remain in F1.

"I have enjoyed this year more than any for a while," he said in his column in The Daily Record newspaper.

"Even though we have not been fighting for wins, I have a real sense of achievement from what I and the guys at Red Bull Racing have done. For me, having been written off by some people, this is real vindication.

"I have shown people it was the right decision to continue racing and 2005 has been a real shot in the arm."

Coulthard is currently 12th in the Drivers' Championship standings, having scored 24 points this season - the same number as he took home last year for McLaren
