Barrichello on the crest of a wave

Rubens Barrichello said grid positions for the British Grand Prix will rest

on picking the right time to go out on the circuit if the one-hourqualifying session is hit by rain.

The Brazilian was seventh fastest in Friday's rain-plagued practice and the
same periodic showers are expected again in Saturday's qualifying.

"I had a good session today and a good run when it was dry," he said.

"I have to say I'm pleased with the car and that's probably why I was
always amongst the quickest.

"I couldn't do the time I wanted to do in the morning when it was wet
because there was some kind of hydraulic problem which affected the
steering."

"In qualifying it will probably be just as changeable as it was today and
that will mean it will be vital to get out on the track at just the right
time."

"I always find it a pleasure to drive here. I like Silverstone a lot and
know it very well because I have done a lot of testing here because I was
with British teams for seven years, as well as my experience from Formula
Three and Formula Opel.

"I feel comfortable being here, almost like being at home as I know
Silverstone better than Interlagos."
