Firman to Get Revised Seat for Brazil

Briton Ralph Firman is expected to have another seat fitting at the Jordan factory this week after complaining of discomfort during last weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix.

Briton Ralph Firman is expected to have another seat fitting at the Jordan factory this week after complaining of discomfort during last weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix.

Firman, who completed a race for the first time in Sepang, was delighted to reach another landmark in his career but admitted something will have to be done to improve his comfort in the car.

"I was in a lot of pain from quite early on in the race," he said. "The seat isn't a great fit but you race hard and do your best under the circumstances and it was great to finish my first Grand Prix.

"There was no way I was going to let anyone past easily and this is a great confidence boost. We need to find more speed in qualifying but it can only build on this and build upwards."

Many team members have already returned to Europe and Firman, who was unable to change his seat between the Australian and Malaysian races, will now have a chance to return to the factory for another fitting.
