McNish Could Skip Tests Due to Shoulder Problems

Scot Allan McNish could miss next week's testing with his Toyota team after suffering from "intense" pains in his shoulder during today's European Grand Prix.
The Toyota team had fitted a new seat to his TF102 car and McNish struggled with it during most of Sunday's race. The Scot, however, decided to continue driving and eventually finished in 14th position.
McNish claimed he will find out tomorrow if he is fit to test next at the Paul Ricard tack, but denied he would miss the British Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit in two weeks time.
"My shoulder was extremely painful due to a new seat in the car," McNish said. "The pain was so intense after my second stop it is a miracle I finished the race at all. Only tomorrow will I know whether I can test next week, but I am not going to miss my home Grand Prix in Silverstone."
McNish's teammate Mika Salo retired with mechanical problems on lap 52.
