Frentzen Pleased with Friday's Work

German Heinz-Harald Frentzen was pleased with the start of his Canadian Grand Prix weekend after finishing in the top ten in Friday's practice.

The Arrows driver, who scored the Leafield-based squad's second point of the season two weeks ago at the Monaco Grand Prix, had no mechanical problems throughout the day, but suffered two spins on the dying moments of the second session.

The veteran driver, who missed last year's Grand Prix in Canada after an accident during Friday practice, was satisfied with his work.

"I had a pretty productive day today, working on race balance throughout both sessions," said Frentzen at the end of the day. "The car certainly feels good here in race set-up. I'm now looking forward to tomorrow when we will fine-tune the car for qualifying."

Teammate Enrique Bernoldi finished in 13th position after his progress was hampered by a hydraulic problem in the first session.

"In general today was okay," he said. "I lost a bit of time this morning with a hydraulic problem but still managed to get through the job list so I'm pleased about that. The brakes we have here take a bit of getting used to but overall the car feels good. I think the changes made to the circuit are positive ones."
