Arrows Unveil New Livery in Melbourne

The Arrows Formula One team unveiled on Wednesday their official livery for the 2002 season in Melbourne, where the first race of the year will take place this year.

The Leafield-based squad, who already presented their new A23 car at the start of February, will be powered by the same Cosworth engines used by the Jaguar team this season. Arrows will still have communications giants Orange as their title sponsor for 2002 season, their third consecutive year with the team.

"Formula One racing continues to inspire the creation of advanced technologies," said Denise Lewis group director at Orange. "Orange believes that the working partnership with the Arrows team is one where both parties will continue to gain knowledge and benefits."

Arrows, who will have German Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Brazilian Enrique Bernoldi as their drivers for the upcoming season, will also have backing, among other companies, from energy drinks giant Red Bull, who also sponsors the Sauber team.

Arrows finished in tenth place in last year's Constructors' Championship after scoring only one point thanks to Dutchman Jos Verstappen.
