Arrows on an Upward Curve, Says Frentzen

German Heinz-Harald Frentzen finally returned to the points on Sunday with a sixth place finish at the Spanish Grand Prix.

German Heinz-Harald Frentzen finally returned to the points on Sunday with a sixth place finish at the Spanish Grand Prix.

The 34-year old veteran had failed to finish in the top six since last year's San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, but on Sunday he drove a good race to give his Arrows team their first point of the season.

German Frentzen is now hoping for more points, and he thinks the Leafield-based team have the potential to do it.

"That was great," said Frentzen. "The team has done a superb job all weekend so they thoroughly deserve this point. I'm confident that this car has the potential to be even better, we just need to work on the balance for qualifying but we have a solution in the pipeline for that.

"We have shown all weekend that we can be competitive and I had an optimistic feeling about the race. I think we are on an upward curve now. The pressure is off to score a point but very much on to score more."

Following Sunday's result, only the Honda-powered Jordan and British American Racing teams are point-less after the first five races of the year.
