Christian Klien will stay on in the Hispania race seat for this weekend's final grand prix in Abu Dhabi.
The Austrian was called up to replace Sakon Yamamoto in both Singapore and Brazil, and will drive alongside Bruno Senna again this weekend.
"It's my third chance to compete for the team this season and I'm getting more and more used to the car and the crew," said Klien, who was initially signed as a test and reserve driver earlier this year before Hispania began rotating its race line-up.
"I hope we can achieve some great results and have a clean weekend. We should have a similar pace to the one in Brazil, so I think we can be a challenge for the [other] new teams."
Former Jaguar and Red Bull driver Klien's return with Hispania in Singapore was his first Formula 1 start since he split with RBR in late-2006.
He impressed by outqualifying team-mate Senna at both events he has contested this year, and took his first finish at Interlagos, albeit six laps down after mechanical problems before the start.
