Webber still eyeing strong Monza race
Mark Webber believes that Red Bull Racing can still come away from the Italian Grand Prix with a decent result - even though team principal Christian Horner reckons Monza will be its weakest track of the year
With the RB6 not the strongest of cars in a straightline, it is expected that Webber and team-mate Sebastian Vettel will have a tough fight on their hands on the high-speed Monza venue.
Despite those predictions, Webber thinks that Red Bull Racing can still get itself in the mix for what he reckons could be a five-way fight at the front of the field.
"I think we can still do well at Monza," said Webber. "We might have a bit more in the way of opposition - in addition to Ferrari, McLaren and Renault, Force India could also be in the mix for the top places."
Vettel, who is keen to bounce back with a strong result after his controversial Belgian Grand Prix performance, is also keeping his ambitions in check.
"I think it won't be easy for us, due to the long straights, but I'm sure we will do our best and keep fighting until the end," said the German.
