Briatore rules out Schumacher move

Schumacher's manager Willi Weber said last week that Briatore had shown interest in the seven-time champion to fill the spot left by Spaniard Fernando Alonso, who will leave Renault for McLaren at the end of this season.

"I told Flavio clearly that we are not talking to anyone until Michael decides whether he wants to," Weber said.

"We've known each other for a long time and talk a lot to each other. Flavio let on that we should talk to him before we sign another possible contract with Ferrari. He seems to be interested."

Briatore, however, suggested there was no way he would want someone of Schumacher's age.

"Forget about it," the Italian told his country's Autosprint magazine. "It's like asking me if I want to go out with a ninety-year-old."

Schumacher's contract with Ferrari comes to an end at the end of this season, and the German's decision on his future is expected over the next few months
