Schuey: I'll bounce back
An unfazed Michael Schumacher says that he will take the disappointment of his streak-shattering Monaco shunt in his stride and go to this weekend's European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring more determined than ever. After winning the first five races this year, he's ready for another victory in race seven
"I feel even more motivated than usual," he said. "I am always pleased to return to Nurburgring, but this time is even more special! Only a week after the Monaco race, I have the chance to transform the disappointment into a successful event and this really motivates me."
Schuey also believes the German circuit will suit the Ferrari, saying: "The track shouldn't hold any surprises. After the recent work done on it, it should be smoother and should favour a balanced set up and offer good grip. We should be able to get the most out of our cars and, in all honesty, I can't wait to take on the track in this fantastic car."
That all adds up to just one thing in Schumacher's mind - his sixth win of the season. "After a pointless Monaco, my objective can only be to challenge for victory," he said, "and this is all I have in mind. I am sure that we are in with a good chance."
