Antonio Pizzonia topped a meagre set of times on day three of the Silverstone Formula 1 test as rain ruined another session for Williams, McLaren and Renault
Williams's Brazilian tester only did 14 laps, while Ralf Schumacher in the other Williams was next best after running all of 12 laps.
McLaren had three drivers on hand and its testers posted near identical times to be third and fourth best with Alexander Wurz just ahead of Pedro de la Rosa. The Spaniard completed more laps than anyone else - 15.
Kimi Raikkonen did 10 laps with a best of just 1m44.104s, the sixth best time.
Renault had Jarno Trulli and Franck Montagny at the track, but Trulli only did one lap and tester Montagny 11. Only the Frenchman posted a time - 1m41.011s
Renault's executive director of engineering Pat Symonds probably reflected the general mood, when he said: "Overall, it has been a frustrating week: we managed to work on the tyres and aerodynamics on Tuesday but of course, it is particularly inconvenient to lose two days of running at an important stage of our development of the R24."
