Massa glad to be back in Sauber
Felipe Massa got back behind the wheel of a Formula 1 Sauber yesterday at Mugello in Italy after being replaced by Heinz-Harald Frentzen for last weekend's United States Grand Prix
The Brazilian, who will be replaced full-time by Frentzen next year, is likely to make his last race appearance for Sauber at the Japanese GP next week.
"It felt really great to be back behind the wheel of the Sauber," he said. "It took a while for the track to reach its best condition this morning, but after that it was really good. I was very happy to be carrying out valuable development work in readiness for the Japanese race."
Massa will continue testing at the circuit today (Wednesday).
The only other driver at the test was Ferrari tester Luca Badoer. The Italian ended up around two and a half seconds quicker than Massa.
