Who can stop Ferrari?
Remember Ross Brawn's words about not letting feisty inter-team battles ruin the team spirit at Ferrari? Rubens has as good as got his second place in the championship, but Michael might be asked to defer in the USA just to make sure. We doubt it though. Rubens is 5-2 with Paddy Power for the win and 6-1 for pole and a win.
Michael and Juan Pablo Montoya to finish first and second in either order is worth some consideration at 4-1. Now, if you are one of those who figure that Schumacher's Ferrari must have a mechanical mishap somewhere, then you've been very disappointed so far. But if it was to happen at Indy and the finishing order was Barrichello/Montoya, in either order, the return would be a very healthy 16-1.
Elsewhere, Sauber is keen to hang on to fifth place in the constructors' championship and has dropped the penalised Felipe Massa, who would have had to start 10 places back on the grid after his Monza faux pas with Pedro de la Rosa. Peter Sauber has thus drafted in Heinz-Harald Frentzen, a reliable racer who, along with Nick Heidfeld, should be looked at for points at odds of 7-2.
Fancy a long shot? Rubens to win from Kimi Raikkonen, or the other way around. It's there at 40-1.
