Massa pushing for more points
Felipe Massa is fired up to score more points in this weekend's British Grand Prix following his sixth place at the Nurburgring - despite having never raced at the Silverstone track before
The Brazilian has scored two sixths and a fifth so far in his rookie Formula 1 season, only one less than his more experienced Sauber team-mate Nick Heidfeld.
"I really enjoyed my race in Germany, and I am ready to push for some more points in England this weekend," Massa said. "Silverstone is the kind of track I really like - fast and challenging - and our car is well suited to its high-speed nature."
Heidfeld reckons the Swiss team is in a strong position to fight with the likes of Renault, Jordan and Toyota for the 'best of the rest' tag behind the top three teams, Ferrari, Williams and McLaren.
"The Sauber went very well in Barcelona, both in the race in May and in recent testing," said the German. "And since the Spanish track is not dissimilar to Silverstone in several respects, I am confident that we can run strongly again in the British GP."
