Lay off Todt, says EJ
Eddie Jordan has jumped to the defence of Ferrari sporting director Jean Todt over the Austrian team orders affair
Speaking in Monaco, Jordan said: "This guy (Todt) is doing a fantastic job and the press is killing him.
"I know one thing, I would kill to have his problems!"
Referring to Ferrari's team orders which let Michael Schumacher win a race dominated by his team mate Rubens Barrichello, Jordan said: "It has only ever happened to me once that I was in a situation where my cars were running one-two. Did I issue team orders? Yes I did.
"Ralf Schumacher didn't like it but the most important think for me was to make sure that the team got that result. If I was in the same situation I would do it again. And I will fight like mad to try and get the team back into that situation. It is the rest of us who must improve our game to come up to Ferrari's level."
