In the words of the late Neville Hay: "It's wet! It's wet! Phone for a vet..."
"I need a new seat... a new suit" says Hadjar. Anyone trapped out in these conditions will be as wet as an otter's pocket.
I can do the I-was-right dance since the session has been stopped just over two minutes in.
Red flag within the next 10 minutes?
"I'm already aquaplaning" says Antonelli, who is still on inters.
Norris, Piastri, Lindblad, Lawson, Albon, Sains and Perex are all on the full wets already.
Russell is told to stop for the extreme wet.
Antonelli reported that the rain has arrived in the pitlane and he's informed the team has 'extreme' wets ready in the garage. That would be a rare sight, since if conditions are bad enough for wets a red flag is usually in the offing.
Whatever happens at the business end of qualifying, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen won't be starting at the front of the grid. What do we think? An all-Mercedes front row? McLarens? Or a wildcard - Isack Hadjar? Arvid Lindblad? Liam Lawson? Lance Stroll?
We're a couple of minutes from the lights going green but there's already a queue in the pitlane because rain is expected to arrive shortly. Intermediate tyres are the order of the day - you may recall there are concerns about how long these take to warm up.
Among the more intriguing stories to emerge this week is how Fred Vasseur, now Ferrari's team principal, dug into his own pockets to ensure Esteban Ocon got a Formula 1 drive.

As you're no doubt aware, the procedure for deciding on the order at the back of the grid when drivers take engine penalties is subject to a considerable degree of numberwang. Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are the ones heading south - but now it looks like Hamilton will be starting from the very back as it emerges he may need another internal combustion engine after a smoky failure in FP3.
WELCOME BACK TO INTERLAGOS
It's been raining - hard - since FP3 but conditions have abated as we look towards qualifying hour. Not paid attention to practice? We've got you...
