A small improvement for Verstappen, who is 0.267s clear of Hamilton now.
A long lap back to the pits for Stroll on that buckled right rear wheel.
Replays show Stroll got a small snap of oversteer at the exit of the final chicane. The brush with the 'wall of champions' has given his Williams a puncture.
He improves to 1m13.569s but is still 0.180s shy of Verstappen's best.
Hamilton is on a better lap on ultrasofts, but not quicker than Verstappen in the first two sectors.
Verstappen goes fastest in all sectors to take top spot off Hamilton. The Red Bull is more than half a second clear now on 1m13.389s.
Verstappen's next lap is better and he's up to fourth now, just 0.191s off the pace.
He goes seventh on 1m14.911s, 0.002s slower than Ricciardo but on a compound one step harder than his Red Bull team-mate.
Hypersofts for Verstappen, who is yet to set a proper flying lap.
Replays show Gasly and Latifi both shortcutting a chicane after overcommitting speed on the entry.
Hamilton restores Mercedes honour at the top. A 1m13.967s lap puts him fastest, with Bottas now second on 1m14.028s.
Alonso goes quickest again, 0.032s up on Bottas as Hamilton leapfrogs Vandoorne for third.
Vandoorne up to third again now, two tenths off Alonso and ahead of Hamilton.
Lots of work going on around the brake calipers in the Haas garage right now.
Sweary Raikkonen on the radio reporting his Ferrari is "snappy".
Alonso back up into second with a 1m14.275s lap on hypersofts. Bottas is just 0.032s quicker.
Bottas becomes the first man to break into the 1m14s in this session. Hamilton joins him to make it a Mercedes one-two, both on supersoft tyres compared to the McLaren drivers, who set their earlier bests on hypersofts. Ricciardo sneaks just into the 1m14s too to go third, on ultrasofts.
Practice start for Hamilton as a stream of cars heads out onto the circuit.

Hulkenberg is climbing out of the car. He's stopped just after the hairpin at the far end of the back straight.
