Hamilton goes fourth on his flying lap, more than half a second slower than title rival Vettel.
Scruffy first sequence of corners for Hamilton, who's two tenths down through the first sector.
Behind the top five, we currently have two Saubers, a Haas and - yes, you are reading correctly - two Williams cars in the top 10.
It's better than before for Bottas, but he's 0.357s off Vettel over the lap.
That's half a second quicker than Raikkonen, who has improved again to a 1m28.045s in second.
Vettel runs over the kerbs exiting Club but it doesn't harm his time, and he's now fastest on a 1m27.552s - within striking distance of this morning's fastest time.
Vettel now goes fastest of all in the first sector and dips below the 28s mark.
Vettel is about to have a go on the soft tyre - the same compound that team-mate Raikkonen was on when he improved his time a few minutes ago.
... But he then runs wide out of Club, and a duff final sector means he only improves by 0.066s.
New fastest first sector of all from Raikkonen, who looks on it and is three tenths up on his previous best by the end of the second sector...
Christian Horner offers his take on Verstappen's crash.

"He was running on the harder tyre. It looked a bit like a high side on a motorbike, the car snapped to the left and then fire him off. [It's] annoying and frustrating, but thankfully we've still got Daniel out there, so the programme is going to rely on his running for the rest of the session."
Bottas strings together two personal bests in the first and second sectors before returning to the pits.
Ricciardo improves slightly to a 1m29.534s to jump back ahead of Bottas and into fourth.
Ocon, who's not the first driver to run the wrong side of the kerb through Club, can't improve on his latest lap.
Ricciardo goes fourth - behind Bottas - but is a second off the pace, and that becomes fifth when Hamilton moves up to third.
Fastest first sector of all for Hamilton - 28.268s - on his first lap.
Medium-shod Ricciardo shuts his DRS off entering Turn 1, before opening it again after exiting the corner.
One Red Bull out, one Red Bull first out. Ricciardo heads straight back out, and is followed by the two Mercedes. Hamilton has mediums on, while Bottas is on the hards.
Verstappen's car has been recovered, and the session is back underway.
Here's how the order looks after the majority of early runs: 1 Raikkonen, 2 Vettel, 3 Ricciardo, 4 Leclerc, 5 Ocon, 6 Alonso, 7 Vandoorne, 8 Magnussen, 9 Perez, 10 Gasly, 11 Ericsson, 12 Sainz, 13 Stroll, 14 Hartley, 15 Hulkenberg, 16 Sirotkin, 17 Verstappen (no time), 18 Hamilton (no time), 19 Bottas (no time)
Other than Verstappen (crashed) and Grosjean (crashed earlier), it's just Hamilton and Bottas who are yet to set times.
Verstappen has found a spot of shade to hide in on the other side of the catch fence as his car is retrieved.
Just as Verstappen was going off, Raikkonen went back to the top of the times on a 1m28.591s.
The virtual safety car had been deployed, but we now have a red flag.
Replays show Verstappen - on the hard compound tyre - lost the back end exiting Luffield, which then snapped the car back the other way.

"You OK Max?" he's asked.

"No mate, the rear is damaged," comes the reply.
Vettel wipes the best part of a second off his time though and is now fastest on a 1m28.856s.
Fastest first sector now from Vettel. It's early on, but times are a couple of seconds slower still than Hamilton's chart-topping FP1 time.
Leclerc gets back up to third and is half a second slower than the man he could replace at Ferrari next year, Raikkonen.
Raikkonen smashes the fastest time with a 1m29.664s, which is 0.178s faster than tea-mate Vettel can manage.
"Wind seems like it's the same direction as this morning," says Sainz.
