Few more cars on track now: Verstappen, Ericsson and Stroll all head out.
No improvements forthcoming from either Vettel or Hamilton, both are circulating in the 1m22s.
Vettel is out on mediums, as he equals Verstappen's 104 laps. He'll surpass that next time by.
Stroll and Vandoorne are in, so it's Sainz all on his own now.
Verstappen's latest stint has taken him to over 100 laps for the day

Verstappen's latest stint has taken him to over 100 laps for the day

Little bit of housekeeping to tick off while the track's relatively quiet - Sauber has announced Tatiana Calderon as its test driver for the 2018 season, meaning the GP3 racer could drive a Formula 1 car for the first time this year:
Calderon in line for F1 running in new Sauber role
Just Vandoorne, Sainz and Stroll on track now. Verstappen leads the mileage stakes on 104 laps from Vettel on 103.
Stroll improves to a 1m26.698s that time around, still some 6.3s off the pace.
Lap count:

Vettel 98
Verstappen 97
Bottas 86
Ericsson 66
Gasly 54
Perez 52
Hulkenberg 48
Magnussen 46
Sirotkin 42
Hamilton 24
Vandoorne 23
Sainz 17
Vandoorne is heading back out in the McLaren now, speaking of the opposing end of the mileage spectrum. Full lap count coming shortly.
Mercedes, however, have a combined tally of 119 with Hamilton and Bottas - and counting...
The race is on to be first to 100 laps here. Vettel has just done 97, with Verstappen one behind.
Several cars have pitted, so it's just Vettel, Verstappen and Hamilton out on track for now.
New personal best by Hamilton, who moves ahead of Magnussen and up into P5 with a 1m21.214s.
A-ha! Sainz finally improves his time with a 1m22.331s, but it's still three tenths off Vandoorne in 11th.
Sainz threatening to improve on the supersofts but he hasn't quite managed it. The Renault man is still 12th and last.
Intriguing six timed laps by Vettel on the softs there: 1m27.421s, 1m29.809s, 1m23.404s, 1m29.591s, 1m22.377, 1m31.789s.
Mediums are the tyre of choice for Verstappen, who has a dab of flo-viz paint on the Red Bull. Hamilton is back out and circulating on softs.
Vettel brings in the Ferrari, having completed 93 laps so far today.
Verstappen is out now after his extended lunch break. Sainz is on supersofts, by the way, so we could be about to see an improvement for the Spaniard.
Sainz heading out of the pits now, the track's getting busier...
On the face of it, this week's temperatures give us a good comparison to last year. The tyres seem to be pretty durable, however the the all new track surface may be flattering the degradation here.

I spoke to some people who did some F3 testing here a few weeks ago and they also had much lower tyre degradation than with the old surface. This may not be too bad in Melbourne which isn't a hard track for tyres anyway, but it could throw the teams a curveball when we get to Bahrain and China.
Vettel is out on softs, although his first flyer is an unremarkable mid-1m27s effort.
Vettel breaks the silence with his first outing of the afternoon in the Ferrari.
A respectable opening 13-lap run on softs for Hamilton, only three of which came anywhere near what you might describe as 'push' laps; for the remainder he was just pounding around. Mercedes certainly isn't revealing its hand yet.
