Barcelona F1 test two day four

Hartley makes a very minor improvement, lapping in 1m21.053s. He's bumped down to slowest by Ricciardo, who jumps to sixth on a 1m20.930s.
This may seem a touch ironic on a day when Alonso is back in the garage having stopped in a puddle of dropped oil after just a handful of laps, but here's Stoffel Vandoorne declaring that McLaren already has a closer relationship with Renault than it ever did with Honda:

Ricciardo improves to a 1m21.112s. He's still slowest of the eight to set a lap time.
Hartley on supersofts. Hamilton on supersofts. Ocon on softs. Grosjean on softs. Ricciardo on mediums.

Comprehensive? We like to think so. Accurate? We like to hope so – identifying some of the tyres has been a nightmare this week!
Grosjean straight back out. As you can see below, he's been one of the busier drivers today and isn't hanging around here.
Of those, Alonso and Sainz haven't set a time. At least this second stoppage prevents McLaren from falling further behind while they work on a fix. Silver linings.
Lap count after a disrupted first 90 minutes of the final day:

Hartley 26
Raikkonen 23
Grosjean 23
Hamilton 20
Sirotkin 22
Ocon 19
Leclerc 18
Ricciardo 12
Alonso 7
Sainz 4
Ten minutes to the restart for "protective barrier repair", reports race control.
Is the Sauber a bit of a handful? EDD STRAW was trackside yesterday conducting an in-depth analysis of the new cars' behaviour to get an early hint of which teams are on top of their new designs and which are scrabbling:

This McLaren reliability situation is getting untenable. Questions need to be asked internally, and soon, otherwise they are going to spiral into oblivion.

It's OK saying it is nothing to worry about, but for it to happen again on the final day of testing shows they are nowhere near understanding what is going on.
The Sauber-carrying truck has left Turn 12 and now there's just a small amount of clearing up going on. We should get back going soon.
Leclerc's Sauber has now been popped onto the back of the flatbed truck, so it'll be removed to the pitlane shortly.
We would like to ask as many people who knew HHF to gather outside the Mercedes motorhome in the paddock at 1pm. Thank you.
A truly lovely and wonderful idea has been hatched to get as many people who knew Henry Hope-Frost to gather for a photo. News of his tragic death yesterday has shocked many people here.
As the Sauber is being tended to by marshals and a recovery truck, this break seems a good time to put a quick request out to the teams/personnel in the Barcelona paddock.
Leclerc's in the gravel on the exit of Turn 12. Timing screen says Turn 11 but it's Turn 12, the right-hander at the top of the hill early in the final sector. He's lost it on a hot lap. That's where he went off on Wednesday. Ericsson, his Sauber team-mate, has also caused a red flag this week by going off. Is that car a bit tricky to handle?
Leclerc is the cause of the red flag. He's stopped at Turn 11.
That interrupts a Leclerc hotlap. He had set two personal bests in the first two sectors.
The "oil on the entry to Turn 7" message is on our screens.
Raikkonen quicker again that lap, 1m19.792s, but still 0.191s from Hamilton.
Further improvements from Leclerc in fifth (1m20.878s), Ricciardo in seventh (1m21.370s) and Ricciardo (1m21.370s).
Looks like supersofts on the Mercedes now for Hamilton, who has just gone quickest on a 1m19.601s. Raikkonen improves to 1m19.911s.
Raikkonen goes fastest on a 1m20.255s. Moments later, Hamilton pops up to second on a 1m20.313s.
Everybody except Grosjean, Ocon and Alonso (obviously) on track.
Sainz returns to the pitlane at the end of the lap. Hamilton heads out in the Mercedes.
Raikkonen, Sirotkin, Ricciardo and Sainz head back out immediately.
Teams and drivers are warned that there is oil on the entry to Turn 7.
