Lap 19: Perez also came into the pits on that lap and is down and away, but he too is out of points contention at this stage.
Lap 19: The Lotus pair are yet to find the strong race pace expected today, running third and fourth in the low 1m30s bracket.
Lap 18: Webber takes on a new nose and heads back out, but he has dropped way down to 17th position.
Lap 18: Hamilton has also passed Hulkenberg in all that and runs in 12th.
Lap 18: Maldonado is closing slightly on leader Alonso over recent laps, with the gap clocked at 2.3 seconds.
Lap 18: Vergne, Massa and Hulkenberg also get through and Red Bull is preparing a new front wing for Webber.
Lap 17: Webber is losing pace and di Resta is thorugh into ninth place.
Lap 17: Behind the top eight, Webber is ninth with di Resta 10th, Vergne 11th, Massa 12th, Hulkenberg 13th and Hamilton 14th after that stop.
Lap 17: Grosjean is the man on the move however, as he makes a DRS move around Rosberg into Turn 1.
Lap 16: With the first round of stops now complete, Alonso leads from Maldonado, Raikkonen, Rosberg, Grosjean, Vettel, Button and Kobayashi.
Lap 16: Glock pits from 18th position, leaving Pic as the only driver in 19th who is yet to come in.
Lap 15: Another fumble in the McLaren pit as Hamilton is slow away on hard tyres.
Lap 15: Hamilton's pace is a 1m31s on well-used rubber, with the team now opting to pit the McLaren.
Lap 15: Senna has made it a few corners further but he gives up the ghost and climbs out of the car.
Lap 14: Replays show that Schumacher was trying to get close to Senna in the braking zone for Turn 1 ... and simply run up the back of the Williams.
Lap 14: Kovalainen makes his first stop.
Lap 14: Up front, Alonso is enjoying his fresh rubber as he sets a strong 1m29.149s to lead by 3.1 seconds over Maldonado.
Lap 14: Senna is touring back to the pits with damage and a puncture.
Lap 14: The race is over for Schumacher. He has made contact with Senna.
Lap 13: Hamilton has not stopped and runs in fourth, with Kovalainen fifth in the Caterham, then Rosberg sixth and Grosjean seventh.
Lap 13: Kovalainen is up to fifth in his Caterham, with Ricciardo and Senna also still to stop and in the top eight.
Lap 13: Rosberg is through on Senna to take seventh and Grosjean tries to follow the German through, but he and Senna make light contact at Turn 1.
Lap 12: Alonso is back in the lead now, with Maldonado, Raikkonen and the yet-to-stop Hamilton following behind.
Lap 12: Maldonado takes hard tyres, while it is softs for Raikkonen.
Lap 12: Plenty of early pit action and Maldonado heads in now, as does Raikkonen.
Lap 11: Grosjean, Schumacher, Vergne and Massa all pile into the pits as well.
Lap 11: Vergne, Massa, Hulkenberg and Petrov all come into the pits this time round.
Lap 11: Hard tyres go on Alonso's car and he resumes in third place.
Lap 11: Webber has passed de la Rosa and is now 20th. He is on the tail of Kobayashi.
Lap 11: Leader Alonso makes his first stop.
Lap 10: Di Resta pits from 10th position, allowing Hamilton up a further spot.
Lap 10: Rosberg is away on soft tyres, while Button makes the switch to hard rubber.
Lap 10: Rosberg is the next to head into the pits, while McLaren are also ready for action.
Lap 10: Meanwhile, Hamilton has passed Ricciardo for 13th and is now on the tail of Hulkenberg ... and the Briton is through easily into 12th.
Lap 9: Kobayashi makes an early stop for Sauber and also resumes on hard rubber.
Lap 9: Webber avaoided contact and was able to pass the HRT a few corners later. The Australian is now 22nd.
Lap 9: Alonso's lead is up to 1.5 seconds over Maldonado, with Raikkonen a further 2.9 seconds back in third.
Lap 9: Webber almost runs up the back of Karthikeyan's HRT as he tries to get past and get on with it.
Lap 8: Vettel rejoins from that stop in 18th position, just ahead of Glock.
Lap 8: Hard tyres for Vettel as well and he is back underway.
