Lap 39: The softs haven't been a great race tyre so far, but Alonso has a big advantage and there is more rubber on the track now.
Lap 38: Karthikeyan pits for the second time from 21st position.
Lap 38: Alonso is in for his final stop and must fit the soft tyres this time.
Lap 38: Button rejoined from his stop in 13th position and is now on the tail of Senna, who is also less than one second behind Hulkenberg.
Lap 38: The Lotus pair have the best race pace at the moment, with Raikkonen clocking 1m35.894s to take the fastest lap.
Lap 38: Ricciardo in 14th maintained track position over team-mate Vergne in the second round of stops, but the gap has closed to 0.7s.
Lap 37: Massa has resumed ahead of Kobayashi, with Raikkonen, Grosjean and Hamilton behind him on the road.
Lap 37: Hulkenberg pits from sixth place. Meanwhile, Kobayashi (now released by Schumacher's stop) posts his best lap of the race.
Lap 37: Hulkenberg has also been for a visit to the Force India pit.

Lap 35: Schumacher pits from sixth position and rejoins further down the field.
Lap 35: A quick stop for Raikkonen and he resumes behind Kobayashi.
Lap 35: Hulkenberg in eighth is now closing into this battling pair quickly, with Hamilton a further 5.8s back in ninth, Grosjean 10th and Rosberg 11th.
Lap 34: So Alonso now leads by 14 seconds from team-mate Massa, with Raikkonen temporarily up to third but now into the pits.
Lap 34: Kobayashi remains on the tail of Schumacher through Luffield as the battle for sixth continues.
Lap 34: Kobayashi gets close into Abbey but cannot get a first attempt done successfully.
Lap 34: it's a quick change of tyres at Red Bull and Webber resumes ahead of Vettel, but behind Raikkonen for the moment.
Lap 33: Schumacher continues to lose pace in sixth and this has allowed Kobayashi to close down that gap. The Japanese is now right with the Mercedes.
Lap 33: Webber pits in reaction to his team-mate's stop.
Lap 33: Button rejoined from his stop in 14th position, 3.5s behind Senna.
Lap 33: Rosberg is 11th and holding a watching brief as the McLaren and Lotus fight hard ahead of him.
Lap 32: So Hamilton is now up to ninth with Grosjean on his gearbox in 10th as they come through Becketts.
Lap 32: Vettel has resumed ahead of Schumacher on the road, currently fifth.
Lap 32: Button pits immediately and is back underway after a quick and error-free stop.
Lap 32: Button is defenceless and Grosjean also sweeps past the other McLaren and into 10th.
Lap 32: Vettel is in for his second stop from third place. He has hard tyres for the run to the end.
Lap 31: Button is up to ninth with Senna's recent stop. Now Hamilton moves ahead of team-mate Button to take 10th.
Lap 31: Schumacher in sixth is losing pace and Kobayashi is just 1.5s behind him, then comes Hulkenberg in eighth.
Lap 31: Senna pits from ninth place in the Williams.
Lap 31: Button in 10th is now beginning to hold up Rosberg. Hamilton takes advantage and nips through ahead of the Mercedes to take 11th.
Lap 30: Kovalainen also pits from 16th in the Caterham.
Lap 30: Ricciardo pits for the second time this afternoon, from 14th position.
Lap 29: Hamilton rejoined just behind Rosberg in what is 12th place.
Lap 29: Grosjean in 13th sets the fastest lap of the race - 1m36.492s. He is now just two seconds behind Rosberg.
Lap 29: Hard tyres go on Hamilton's McLaren and the team could be planning a long run to the end after another clean stop.
Lap 29: De la Rosa finally pits the HRT from 19th position, making it as far as lap 29.
Lap 29: Hamilton pits again, with his pace having been poor on the soft tyres.
Lap 28: Alonso laps compatriot de la Rosa as he continues to lead strongly, now six seconds clear of Webber's Red Bull.
