Lap 19: Alonso finally makes his move with the aid of DRS down into Turn 7.
Lap 19: Alonso continues to tail di Resta and is still to make a move on the Force India.
Lap 19: Before this pitstop phase, Alguersuari was running 18th. He will hope to gain track position.
Lap 18: Maldonado is up to 10th with Barrichello 11th and Buemi 12th, as Alguersuari pits.
Lap 18: Alonso is looking for a way past di Resta now as Webber begins to close in behind him.
Lap 18: Behind the top seven, Sutil runs in a comfortable eighth with Perez 10 seconds back in ninth.
Lap 18: Di Resta's pace is now 1m57s on heavily-worn rubber and now has Alonso closing rapidly on the Force India.
Lap 18: D'Ambrosio and Ricciardo have also been in at the back of the field.
Lap 17: Trulli and Petrov come into the pits for the first time.
Lap 17: Trulli now has to fend off the attention from Maldonado, but Petrov has slipped right down the field with horrible pace. Several cars have passed him.
Lap 17: Vettel sets the fastest lap on his fresh tyres with a 1m53.269s effort. Button is clocked 11.4 seconds behind him.
Lap 17: Alguersuari gets brave with Trulli and sends a successful move up the inside of Trulli to take over 11th position.
Lap 17: He trundles through the lane and rejoins at the back end of the top 20.
Lap 16: Hamilton comes in to serve that drive through penalty.
Lap 16: Perez pits from what was fourth position in the Sauber.
Lap 16: Lewis Hamilton has been handed a drive-through penalty for causing that collision with Massa.
Lap 16: Vettel leads comfortably after the stops from Button, with di Resta now up to third but yet to stop.
Lap 15: Schumacher is through on Kobayashi and is up to eighth. Sutil follows the Mercedes through a few corners later and takes ninth from the Sauber.
Lap 15: Button has gone for the harder tyres for his next stint.
Lap 15: Kobayashi is up to ninth and once again the Japanese is leaving it late for his stop. Schumacher is tight up behind him in 10th.
Lap 15: Vettel pits from the lead and is followed in by Button.
Lap 15: Hamilton resumes on a set of the hard tyres and is in for a long afternoon from back down the order in 16th.
Lap 14: He rejoins well down the order after efficient work from the McLaren mechanics.
Lap 14: Hamilton pits for a change of front wing.
Lap 14: The incident between Hamilton and Massa is also now under investigation.
Lap 14: Rosberg is all over Hamilton's gearbox and he will surely be in soon for a change of front wing.
Lap 14: Barrichello pits for fresh tyres, as Massa exits the pits with a fresh set following that incident with the British driver.
Lap 14: Massa makes it back to the pits with a flailing tyre, while Hamilton continues for now with a lot of understeer in his damaged McLaren.
Lap 13: Meanwhile, Webber has been in for his first stop and resumes behind Alonso.
Lap 13: Di Resta and Perez continue on for another lap and they have climbed to fourth and fifth for now.
Lap 13: Replays show a very optimistic move from Hamilton, with Massa well clear heading into the corner.
Lap 13: Hamilton has damage to the front wing of the McLaren, while Massa is touring back to the pits with a puncture.
Lap 13: Di Resta is up into a temporary sixth place in this pitstop phase, with Perez seventh and Barrichello eighth.
Lap 13: Hamilton tries a move on Massa into Turn 7 and for the second year in a row it ends in contact.
Lap 12: The pair power out of the pits behind Alonso, who is currently boxed up behind Barrichelo's Williams.
Lap 12: Sutil, Maldonado, Buemi and Kovalainen all pit this time round.
Lap 12: Replays show that Glock spun at Turn 17 and gently rear-ended his car into the barrier. He rejoined, but with damage to the suspension.
Lap 12: Hamilton bolts on a fresh set of supersofts but resumes a fraction behind Massa in the pitlane.
Lap 12: Hamilton and Massa pit together.
Lap 11: Glock has pulled off towards the end of the lap and climbs out of the Virgin. He is the first retirement.
