Lap 29: Alonso's pace is good on his fresh tyres in comparison to Webber, but the Red Bull man may be planning a two-stop strategy now.
Lap 28: Massa is just 1.9s behind Maldonado in 14th and closing down on the Williams extremely quickly.
Lap 28: Di Resta has the racier strategy of the pair and is quickly pulling away from his team-mate in fifth on the road.
Lap 28: Kovalainen pits from 16th in the Lotus but his battle through the race so far with Alguersuari will now be over.
Lap 28: Hamilton continues to run in 10th and 15th placed Massa now sets a new fastest lap of the race with 1m52.550s.
Lap 28: Sutil allows his team-mate through around the grandstand at Turn 17, releasing di Resta on his way.
Lap 27: Schumacher in ninth is flying on his new tyres. He posts 1m53.096s and is just six seconds behind team-mate Rosberg.
Lap 27: Di Resta is right on the tail of Sutil and looks to be the faster driver at the moment as the Scot laps on the supersoft rubber.
Lap 27: Massa rejoined in 16th place after that stop but he has already passed Kovalainen .
Lap 27: With the growing field spread on the lead lap, Alonso has resumed in fourth ahead of the Force India pair.
Lap 26: Hamilton has passed Barrichello up the inside of Turn 7 and takes over 10th place, as Maldonado pits.
Lap 26: More of the harder rubber goes on Alonso's car and he heads out for a third stint.
Lap 26: Alonso dives for the pitlane on what looks to be a three-stop strategy.
Lap 26: Alguersuari is also into the pits for the second time. Meantime, Senna did pass Liuzzi for 20th and has sailed away from the Italian.
Lap 26: Massa pits the Ferrari from 13th for his second stop.
Lap 26: Schumacher follows Mercedes early stop strategy and has been in for his own second stop.
Lap 25: Barrichello is next on Hamilton's hit list, just one second ahead.
Lap 25: Massa runs wide and Hamilton takes the place easily. The Briton is up to 12th.
Lap 25: Webber is piling the pressure on Alonso, who makes a mistake into the Turn 10 chicane and only just emerges ahead of the Red Bull.
Lap 24: Barrichello holds position in front of Massa and Hamilton but this three-car scrap is going to get tasty very soon.
Lap 24: Hamilton is right there now and we have a three car fight for 11th.
Lap 24: Vettel is told his "fuel is good" meaning the leading Red Bull is on course to make his fuel last the distance despite his meteoric pace.

Lap 23: Alonso looks to be struggling for grip once again as Webber harries the Spaniard around the circuit.
Lap 23: Massa has caught Barrichello and the fight for 11th begins in earnest.
Lap 23: Rosberg was a lonely fifth for Mercedes but now heads in for a second stop.
Lap 23: The Renault drivers are having a terrible race so far. Petrov is struggling in 18th and Senna is fighting to try and get past Liuzzi in a battle for 20th.
Lap 23: Alonso clears traffic in the form of d'Ambrosio's Virgin and now has Webber right on his gearbox.
Lap 22: Further up the road, Massa's next target is his friend Rubens Barrichello, as a battle starts to develop for 11th.
Lap 22: Alonso's pace is a relatively poor 1m55s and he is falling away from Button and back towards Webber's Red Bull.
Lap 22: With the first stops now completed, Vettel leads by a massive 14.4 seconds from Button. Alonso is another 18.1 seconds adrift in third.
Lap 22: Hamilton is on the move and starting his recovery. He passes Kobayashi and takes 14th.
Lap 22: Trulli is into the pits for a second time and rejoins near the back of the field after a strong opening stint.
Lap 21: Jarno Trulli has dropped away from the Alguersuari-Kovalainen scrap. He was ahead of them before the stops, but Mike Gascoyne confirms that the Italian suffered a puncture when hit by Alguersuari.
Lap 21: Massa has caught Buemi and he sends an easy move up the inside of the Toro Rosso at Turn 7 to take 12th.
Lap 20: Di Resta takes on supersoft tyres and rejoins the fray in eighth position.
Lap 20: Di Resta heads in for his first stop after a long first stint in the Force India.
Lap 20: Massa posts his best lap of the race so far and is catching 12th placed Buemi quickly.
Lap 20: That puts Alonso up to third, with di Resta now fourth ahead of his first stop. The Scot now has Webber on his gearbox.
Lap 19: Massa is now 13th as he starts the recovery following that puncture, with Kobayashi 14th, Hamilton 15th and Kovalainen 16th.
