Lap 11: Schumacher has been in for his first change of rubber, resuming behind Trulli well down the order.
Lap 11: Alonso switches to the harder rubber, which has been performing well on di Resta's Force India.
Lap 10: Alonso is clearly struggling for grip and pits the Ferrari.
Lap 10: Webber and Alonso are wheel-to-wheel as the Australian muscles his way past the Ferrari in a fine move at Turn 14.
Lap 10: Trulli in 17th is doing a solid job in keeping position ahead of Alguersuari and Petrov. Kovalainen is 1.2 behind this trio in 20th.
Lap 9: Barrichello in 13th is keeping pace with his team-mate quite easily, but Senna is now six second down on the Williams squabble.
Lap 9: Rosberg makes an early stop from seventh in his Mercedes.
Lap 9: Perez is 11th and hanging onto the Force India pair, but Maldonado is almost five seconds behind the Mexican.
Lap 9: Hamilton is told he is in the "half window" as he draws up to the gearbox of Massa's Ferrari.
Lap 9: Gaps beginning to open up behind the top eight drivers. Sutil in ninth is two seconds behind Schumacher, with team-mate di Resta a further 2.8s back.
Lap 8: Senna loses yet more pace and has fallen to almost five seconds behind 13th placed Barrichello.
Lap 8: Meanwhile, Hamilton is drawing up to the Button, Alonso, Webber, Massa train and is now just a couple of seconds behind them.
Lap 7: Webber tells his team he thinks his DRS is not working very well as he continues to chase after Alonso.
Lap 7: Alonso is told the "safety car window is open" meaning he would now pit if the big Mercedes was deployed.
Lap 7: Senna in 14th is another holding up a queue of cars. Buemi and Kobayashi are on the Brazilian's heels and looking to get through.
Lap 7: Vettel's pace is in a different league at this stage with Button dropping back at over a second per lap.
Lap 6: Webber is just behind in fourth ahead of Massa, who is now being chased down by the released Hamilton.
Lap 6: Vettel leads by a massive seven seconds from Button and Alonso.
Lap 6: Trulli in 17th now has Alguersuari, Petrov and Kovalainen all backed up behind him.
Lap 5: No position changes further down the field and di Resta is now settling down. He edges away from Perez and Maldonado.
Lap 5: Hamilton powers around the Mercedes and is easily up to sixth.
Lap 5: Ricciardo now gets hit with double trouble, as the leaders come through to put him one lap down after that stop at the end of the first lap.
Lap 5: Hamilton is now all over the gearbox of Rosberg's car heading into the DRS zone.
Lap 5: Vettel sets the fastest lap and has almost the pit straight as a margin after just four laps.
Lap 4: Hamilton is now off in pursuit of Rosberg's Mercedes.
Lap 4: Sutil is ninth has pulled some three seconds clear of his team-mate and hanging onto the front pack reasonably well.
Lap 4: Schumacher runs wide into Turn 5, giving Hamilton an easy run on DRS to take over seventh into the Memorial Corner.
Lap 4: Di Resta is already struggling a little for pace in 10th. Perez and Maldonado are tight up behind him.
Lap 4: Button is now a huge 4.4 seconds behind Vettel and has Alonso right on his tail.
Lap 3: Vettel leads into lap three as the DRS becomes available.
Lap 3: Ricciardo has been in and out of the pits to get that front wing replaced. He rejoins some 54 seconds adrift of the field.
Lap 3: Rosberg did use some of the run-off area at the first corner but the team is confident that he will avoid penalty.
Lap 3: Kovalainen made a poor start in the other Lotus. He is 20th, behind Petrov's Renault.
Lap 3: Webber's start was once again average and Button was easily past and on Vettel's tail into the first turn.
Lap 3: Senna is 14th for Renault. Behind him is Buemi 15th, Kobayashi 16th and Trulli in 17th.
Lap 3: Replays show Hamilton was challenging Webber for second off the line but was crowded out by the pack into the first corner.
Lap 2: Behind Hamilton, Sutil is ninth with team-mate di Resta holding position in 10th. Perez is 11th with Maldonado 12th and Barrichello 13th.
Lap 2: Meanwhile, Vettel already has a 2.5 second advantage over the fast-starting Button.
Lap 2: Hamilton is harrying Schumacher again in a repeat of the squabble they had in the previous race.
Lap 2: Ricciardo is touring back to the pits with a damaged front wing on his HRT.
