Lap 24: Karthikeyan pits and just behind him d'Ambrosio does the same. They were running in 18th and 19th.
Lap 24: Senna pits from ninth and it will be interesting to see where he comes out in relation to Kovalainen.
Lap 23: Plenty for the leading strategists still to ponder, with the conservative choice a two-stop plan meaning a lengthy run on the slower tyres.
Lap 23: Di Resta is back in 18th after that second stop but now setting quick sector times. He starts the charge of the HRTs once again.
Lap 23: Kovalainen pits from 10th. He will drop down the field to around 16th place.
Lap 22: Hamilton's pace is much improved in this stint, clocking a 1m30.194s effort that is close to leader Vettel's pace.
Lap 22: Senna is beginning to lose pace after getting passed by Schumacher and believe this - Kovalainen is catching him. Lotus can smell this.
Lap 21: Schumacher is making progress after his recent stop. He passes Senna at Turn 4 and takes eighth.
Lap 20: Button is clocked 3.1 seconds behind Vettel, drawing closer through the pitstop phase thanks to an earlier tyre change.
Lap 20: Senna is now up to eighth with the stops and Schumacher is ninth, Kovalainen 10th, Alguersuari 11th and Sutil 12th, as di Resta comes in for the second time.
Lap 20: Massa is making the best of the fresh tyres at the moment, setting the fastest lap in his Ferrari.
Lap 19: Alguersuari is 12th and did keep track position ahead of Adrian Sutil. The comes the Perez versus Petrov battle.
Lap 19: Vettel resumes on fresh tyres with a comfortable advantage over Button and Webber.
Lap 19: Buemi pits the Toro Rosso from ninth while Senna and Kovalainen stay out for another lap.
Lap 19: Vettel answers the call to box this lap.
Lap 19: Leader Vettel is the only man in the original top eight still to pit.
Lap 19: Schumacher is in as well for a second set of soft tyres.
Lap 19: Buemi is clear in a solid ninth but has yet to pit, with Senna 10th and Kovalainen a sensational 11th after Alguersuari's recent stop.
Lap 18: Button pulls out of the long pitlane and has resumed ahead of Webber on the road.
Lap 18: So Perez is now 14th with Petrov 15th and di Resta 16th, Ricciardo 17th and Karthikeyan is 18th.
Lap 18: Button is in for his first stop in reaction to Webber's earlier change of rubber.
Lap 18: Alonso finally clears Schumacher with the aid of DRS down into Turn 4.
Lap 18: Great racing down the field! Di Resta runs wide, allowing Perez to pass him. They are both slow on the exit and Petrov makes it three-wide for a moment, before slotting in behind Perez, with di Resta hung out to dry.
Lap 18: Rosberg also makes a first stop in his Mercedes, while Massa resumes right behind team-mate Alonso.
Lap 17: Massa is the next man in for service at the Ferrari garage.
Lap 17: Up front, Vettel has opened the lead up to five seconds ahead of his own first stop.
Lap 17: Webber has resumed ahead of Schumacher, while Alonso slots in behind the Mercedes.
Lap 17: Alguersuari comes in for tyres on the next lap from ninth and will be aiming to stay ahead of Sutil.
Lap 16: Webber, Alonso and Hamilton all pile into the pits for the first time.
Lap 16: Sutil comes into the pits from 11th place for tyres, having just been passed by both Toro Rosso drivers.
Lap 16: Further back, di Resta, Perez and Petrov have all passed Ricciardo, dropping the Australian to 17th, with Karthikeyan now 18th.
Lap 15: Buemi again follows his team-mate through one lap later. Sutil sees the second STR 6 pass him relatively easy in the DRS zone for 10th.
Lap 15: Maldonado's retirement promotes Kovalainen to 13th and Ricciardo to 14th, but the di Resta train is about to come through and change all that.
Lap 14: Vettel responds to Button's recent spurt of pace with a new fastest lap of 1m30.685s. His lead is now 4.3 seconds.
Lap 14: Alguersuari continues his good progress. He caught Sutil and has just passed the Force India to take ninth position.
Lap 13: Maldonado pulls off to the side of the track and his race is over.
Lap 13: Oh! Problems for Maldonado. He has no drive!
Lap 13: Senna continues his backwards slide. The Toro Rosso pair have pulled away by four seconds and now Maldonado wants to have a crack at the Renault.
Lap 13: Vettel responds with his own best lap, however Button is faster again and reels the lead in to 4.2 seconds.
Lap 12: Button continues his charge as he pulls 1.6 seconds clear of Webber and slightly cuts Vettel's lead to 4.5 seconds.
