Lap 33: Di Resta is up to eighth with his team-mate's stop and Kobayashi is ninth with Buemi 10th, Perez 11th and Alguersuari in 12th.
Lap 33: The McLaren man would have a long way to make the finish on those tyres, suggesting Button may be opting for a three-stop strategy.
Lap 32: Maldonado's car is still being cleared away by the Brazilian marshals, as Petrov pits from 10th.
Lap 31: Showers remain to the east of the circuit on the radar, but are not making any immediate move towards the track.
Lap 30: Vettel pulls to the inside at the first corner, allowing team-mate Webber to take the lead.
Lap 30: Webber is now right on the ailing gearbox of Vettel's Red Bull.
Lap 29: Vettel is told to short shift at every corner, which he suggests will cause him to fall behind Webber.
Lap 29: But the battle between them is over and Maldonado is off at the Ferradura.
Lap 28: Webber is now just 1.4 seconds behind Vettel as he begins to pressure the leader.
Lap 28: Senna seems to be back up to racing speed and is chasing after Maldonado, as the fight for 16th.
Lap 28: Schumacher is up to 19th place now and has just passed Trulli into the Senna S.
Lap 27: Senna is in trouble round Turn 3 and Maldonado gets past him easily to take 16th.
Lap 27: Meanwhile, Vettel's gearbox problem is said to be "serious" by the team as engineers again ask him to short shift in the lower gears.
Lap 26: Maldonado has a go at Senna round the outside heading into the Ferradura, but the Brazilian eases over and holds the line.
Lap 26: Button remains fourth in his McLaren, with Hamilton a further 1.9 seconds behind. Both drivers lack the ultimate race pace today.
Lap 26: Barrichello is 15th with Senna 16th, but fending off a strong attack now from Maldonado. Kovalainen is 18th.
Lap 25: Petrov is ninth and di Resta is close behind him in 10th spot, with Kobayashi 11th, Buemi 12th, Perez 13th and Alguersuari 14th.
Lap 25: Vettel's lead is clocked at 2.7 seconds over Webber, with Alonso a further 5.3 seconds behind and finding good race pace in his Ferrari.
Lap 25: Glock had just been into the pits and he was released before the left rear was on properly. He took off and the wheel detached immediately.
Lap 24: Trulli pits the Lotus, as we see Glock pulling off approaching Turn 4 minus his left rear wheel.
Lap 23: Only Trulli in 15th is still out there on his original set and the field shuffles back into line following those stops.
Lap 23: Kobayashi pits this time round and three places behind him on the road, so does Alguersuari.
Lap 23: Webber is now the fastest man on track as he laps Schumacher. He's 2.8 seconds behind leader Vettel.
Lap 22: Perez pits, as Rosberg passes Alguersuari at the Senna S to take over ninth position.
Lap 21: Vettel makes his move on DRS, going around the outside of Massa at Turn 4 to take back the lead.
Lap 21: Sutil has passed Perez after that stop and taken eighth, with Rosberg also making progress through the midfield runners behind him.
Lap 21: Vettel is now closing on Massa, who is lapping slowly on well-used tyres.
Lap 21: But the Swiss driver immediately pits for his first stop. He rejoins the race outside the top 10.
Lap 20: Massa leads but is yet to make his first stop. Vettel, Webber, Alonso, Button and Hamilton is the order of those who have changed tyres.
Lap 20: Buemi has passed Kobayashi and takes over seventh position for the time being.
Lap 20: Kobayashi is up to seventh now, having not stopped yet, with Buemi eighth and Perez ninth, as Senna comes in to serve that drive-through.
Lap 19: Webber resumes a couple of seconds behind team-mate Vettel.
Lap 19: Senna has been given a drive-through penalty for that incident with Schumacher.
Lap 19: Maldonado and Kovalainen also come in from 15th and 17th places respectively.
Lap 18: Vettel resumes and is temporarily behind Massa and Webber, who are yet to stop.
