Lap 46: Kobayashi pits from eighth one lap later and rejoins the fight.
Lap 46: Hamilton's fight with Massa is called off as he pits for hard tyres for the run to the end.
Lap 45: Meanwhile, Webber leads by 4.4 seconds from Vettel, with Alonso a further 7.9 seconds behind in third.
Lap 44: Buemi pits from 10th and Toro Rosso will be looking to get some undercut on Kobayashi's Sauber.
Lap 44: Rosberg pits the Mercedes, as Maldonado watched the race from the sidelines.
Lap 43: Kobayashi is promoted to ninth with Buemi now 8.6s back in 10th, Alguersuari 11th and Petrov making it a three-car train in 12th.

Lap 40: Vettel matches the strategy of Webber, Alonso and Hamilton, taking softs into a three-stop plan.
Lap 40: Button sends the DRS move around the outside of the Ferrari and takes over fourth place in his McLaren.
Lap 40: Sutil in eighth is 6.1s behind Rosberg, with di Resta ninth, Kobayashi in 10th, Buemi 11th and Alguersuari 12th.
Lap 39: Webber pits from the lead, taking soft tyres for a third stint.

Lap 38: Meantime, Force India plays a strategy shuffle as di Resta moves aside and Sutil takes over eighth position.

Lap 38: Schumacher rejoined from his second stop in 19th position and is closing up to the back of Trulli and Senna.

Lap 36: Sutil has rejoined in ninth place and is four seconds behind di Resta, with Kobayashi 10th, Buemi 11th, Perez 12th and Alguersuari 13th.
Lap 35: Hamilton resumes behind Button but on the alternative tyre strategy.
Lap 35: Schumacher pits from 16th place. He was 10 seconds behind Kovalainen before they pitted, one lap apart.
Lap 34: Hamilton is in for a change of tyres as well but takes softs, boxing him into a three-stop plan unless it rains later on.
Lap 34: Meteo France suggests that rain could arrive in around 10 minutes from now.
Lap 34: Button has fallen to sixth after that stop, with Massa now in between the McLaren pair.
Lap 33: Kovalainen pits from 16th place in the Lotus, handing the position to the recovering Schumacher.
Lap 33: Webber leads by two seconds from the ailing Vettel. Alonso is still 7.5 seconds behind the Red Bull pair.
