Lap 31: Replays show Vettel almost stalled on his getaway from the pits, but he is back in pursuit of Alonso on fresh rubber.
Lap 31: It's an interesting decision from Red Bull to pit on the same lap as Alonso, giving up the opportunity of some fast laps from Vettel.

Lap 34: This second safety car intervention suggests the race will be capped at two hours, with the flag just 54 minutes away.
Lap 34: Klien is wheeled back into the HRT garage with problems.
Lap 34: Behind the five championship contenders, Rosberg is sixth, with Kubica seventh, Barrichello eighth, Sutil ninth and Hulkenberg 10th.

Lap 35: Massa is 11th ahead of Petrov 12th, Alguersuari 13th, Heidfeld 14th and Schumacher in 15th position.
Lap 35: Buemi is 16th as Kovalainen comes into the pits from 17th.
Lap 35: If it stays like this, the points will read: Webber 202; Hamilton 192; Alonso 192; Vettel 181 and Button 173.
Lap 36: The safety car comes into the pitlane and we are racing once again.
Lap 36: Alonso is away from Vettel as Webber and Hamilton muscle past the pair of Virgins.
Lap 37: Webber now has Button on his tail, as McLaren ponder potentially terminal damage to Hamilton's title campaign.
Lap 37: Webber is asking the team to check if he has damage, while the stewards also look into the incident.
Lap 37: Replays show Hamilton was clear past after taking it three wide with the Virgin, but the door was closing and contact was inevitable.
Lap 38: Webber's pace is good and he seems to have survived that contact. He will extend his advantage at the top of the points considerably.
Lap 39: Alonso leads by two seconds from Vettel, with Webber over five seconds further adrift.
Lap 39: Michael Schumacher and Nick Heidfeld collided in a battle over 14th position. Schumacher had to pit through new front wing and Heidfeld is out of the race.
