Lap 23: McLaren are in the pits to receive Hamilton.
Lap 23: Schumacher is currently 20.8 seconds behind leader Vettel so the Red Bull team won't want to end up behind the German if they stop now.
Lap 23: Alguersuari pits to take on soft tyres in a rapid 3.9 second stop. He rejoins further down the order.
Lap 22: Glock again tries this time to the outside of Yamamoto going into Turn 1 - but the Japanese driver continues to hold 16th.
Lap 22: Rubens Barrichello has been into the pits from seventh position. He rejoins after a total pitlane time of 23.5 seconds.
Lap 21: Glock has a massive go Yamamoto as they blast downhill into the first corner, but again fails to get through as the HRT driver chops across him to take the line.
Lap 21: The clash between Petrov and Hulkenberg off the start will also be looked at by officials.
Lap 21: Race control has announced that the incident between Massa and Liuzzi at Turn 1 will be investigated by the stewards.
Lap 20: Vettel sets the fastest lap again after a slight lull in pace over recent minutes.
Lap 20: The overtaking attempts continue as Glock tries again to get past Yamamoto. The Japanese again holds his line and defends 16th place.
Lap 19: Kobayashi manages to find overtaking opportunities where others never dare to try. Heidfeld and Sutil come into the pits to change tyres.
Lap 19: Webber sets his best time of the race so far, closing to within two seconds of his team-mate.
Lap 19: Kobayashi sends another daredevil move at the hairpin and takes another position! He moves up to ninth place with another good move.
Lap 19: Kobayashi in 10th is continuing to attack on his hard tyres. He is up behind Adrian Sutil and beginning to put pressure on the German.
Lap 18: The Red Bull pace is now easing out front, with Alonso beating both of them on laptime on that last tour.
Lap 18: Nico Rosberg is 13th and stuck behind the two Toro Rosso drivers, as Glock now tries to take Yamamoto for 16th.
Lap 16: Yamamoto makes an error at Turn 1 and a very grateful Jarno Trulli takes over 15th place.
Lap 16: Kobayashi is 10th and now beginning to pull away from Alguersuari and Buemi in the Toro Rosso STR 5s
Lap 16: Vettel continues to bang in fastest sector times as the fuel burns off, suggesting his soft tyres are still in good shape.
Lap 15: Heidfeld is eighth and 1.4 seconds behind Barrichello. Sutil is close behind the Sauber driver in ninth.
Lap 15: Michael Schumacher remains in sixth, but has fallen to almost four seconds behind Hamilton. Barrichello is a further four seconds behind Schumacher.
Lap 14: Alonso is now a comfortable 2.4 seconds clear of the McLaren pair, with Hamilton still a second behind team-mate Button.
Lap 14: Kobayashi sends a banzai move up the inside of Jaime Alguersuari at the hairpin. The Japanese makes the move stick and takes over 10th position.
Lap 14: Trulli gets a bit of oversteer on acceleration out of the final chicane and that blunts his attack against the HRT as they go into Turn 1 for another lap.
Lap 13: Vettel sets the fastest lap again at a 1m36.674s, pulling two seconds clear of Webber and now 5.6 ahead of title rival Alonso.
Lap 13: The scrap between the new teams is the closest on the circuit at the moment. Yamamoto's HRT looks like a real handful to drive.
Lap 12: Here comes the three-car scrap for 15th place into Turn 1 and Yamamoto is continuing to hold track position over the Lotus and Virgin.
Lap 12: Nick Heidfeld is eighth, but beginning to lose ground to Barrichello. The German has Sutil, Alguersuari and Kobayashi all close behind him.
Lap 12: Yamamoto keeps Trulli behind him for another lap and Glock makes it a squabbling trio. This is a three-car battle for 15th place.
Lap 11: Webber responds to Vettel's pace but is now 1.5 seconds behind the leader.
Lap 10: Jarno Trulli is being held up by Yamamoto's HRT. They are battling over 15th place.
Lap 10: Hamilton is still chasing Button for fourth but there is no sign of a strategic switch between the McLaren pair so far.
Lap 10: Vettel is checking out with his latest fastest lap of 1m37.045s.
Lap 10: Timo Glock has passed Bruno Senna to take over 17th place. Ahead of him, Trulli is trying to pass Yamamoto.
Lap 9: Barrichello is seventh and hounding the Mercedes driver. Heidfeld and Sutil are in close attendance.
Lap 9: Vettel sets the fastest lap up front as he sprints 1.1s clear of Webber and almost three seconds on the chasing Ferrari of Alonso.
Lap 9: Michael Schumacher is holding up the chasing pack behind him in sixth position. The German is already two seconds down on Hamilton.
Lap 8: Hamilton is right on the gearbox of team-mate Button and may be looking for a way past on his opposing strategy.
Lap 8: Rosberg was able to save the car and remains in 13th position.
Lap 8: Nico Rosberg tries a brave move round the outside of Buemi at the 130R. He runs onto the damp artificial grass and almost has an accident like di Grassi.
