Lap 33: Timo Glock must be crying in the cockpit of his Virgin Racing entry.
Lap 33: The strategy doesn't look to have paid off for Button up front and he is on course to slot in fifth once he makes his stop.
Lap 33: It was also a good lap for Hamilton, almost matching Webber on pace and now 15s off the lead.
Lap 33: Kobayashi's tactic of going long for the first stint looks to be paying off once again. He has 10.4 seconds over seventh placed Nico Rosberg.
Lap 33: Webber is really charging now and closes to 1.3s behind Vettel.
Lap 32: Hamilton is fading from the chase of Alonso, but still looks on course to beat Button to fourth when the leader stops.
Lap 32: Barrichello is 10th and has Sutil close behind him. Toro Rosso drivers Alguersuari and Buemi are 12th and 13th.
Lap 32: Webber and Alonso are trading fastest sectors, with the Ferrari coming out with the fastest lap at a 1m35.214s.
Lap 31: Rosberg is now promoted to seventh following Buemi's pitstop. Schumacher is right behind Rosberg in eighth with Heidfeld 2.4 seconds behind this pair in ninth.
Lap 31: Buemi rejoined from his pitstop in 13th position and is now 8.2 seconds behind team-mate Jaime Alguersuari.
Lap 31: Kamui Kobayashi has lapped the Yamamoto versus Glock battle for 16th. Glock was unable to take advantage and remains on the gearbox of the HRT.
Lap 30: Button leads, but is yet to stop. Vettel is set to take over the lead when the McLaren comes in, with a 3.3s advantage over team-mate Webber
Lap 30: Schumacher is still close behind Mercedes team-mate Rosberg, as and Buemi rejoins after a total pitlane time of 21.6 seconds.
Lap 30: Alonso takes the fastest lap now, pulling to 4.1s clear of Hamilton.
Lap 30: Sebastien Buemi pits from seventh position in the Toro Rosso.
Lap 29: Alonso is responding to Hamilton's pressure now and may have been in heavy traffic when the McLaren was closing rapidly.
Lap 29: Glock is still up the back of Yamamoto as they fight the 16th position. No change between these two over the last 10 laps.
Lap 29: Schumacher is reminded on the team radio by his race engineer that there are no team orders, but that Rosberg will be sensible if he tries a move.
Lap 28: Hamilton's charge is slowed momentarily by traffic in the form of Yamamoto's HRT.
Lap 28: Hamilton sets the fastest lap at 1m35.563s and is just 17.2s behind team-mate Button, meaning he will surely clear the leader when he stops.
Lap 28: Schumacher tries a move round the outside of his team-mate going into Turn 1, but Rosberg protects the inside and maintains track position.
Lap 28: Schumacher moves to the left and then to the right behind Rosberg as they approach the Casio Triangle.
Lap 28: Hamilton is 3.5 seconds behind Alonso and closes over a second on that lap.
Lap 27: Kobayashi now runs in sixth position but has yet to stop, with Buemi seventh. The Mercedes battle between Rosberg and Schumacher is for eighth place.
Lap 26: Webber stops as Hamilton sets a rapid fastest lap of 1m35.675s.
Lap 26: Rosberg is in eighth position with Schumacher right on his gearbox in ninth. The Mercedes drivers have already engaged in some tasty battles for position at earlier races.
Lap 26: Hamilton sets the fastest first sector as he is released on fresh tyres.
Lap 26: Hamilton is now fifth and needs some fast laps to try and leapfrog team-mate Button.
Lap 26: Hamilton sends a brave move down the inside of Kobayashi into Turn 1 in a vital move for the McLaren man.
Lap 25: Vettel is down and away, with Alonso eventually chasing him out of the pits.
Lap 25: Schumacher takes on hard tyres and rejoins in ninth position after a 3.7 seconds stop.
Lap 25: Alonso is deep in traffic now, passing Glock but now behind Yamamoto's HRT.
Lap 24: Michael Schumacher pits from sixth position and the German will be looking to stay ahead of Barrichello.
Lap 24: Alonso opts not to pit the Ferrari after traffic on that lap.
Lap 24: Barrichello rejoined from his stop in 11th position and is 4.5 seconds behind Nick Heidfeld.
Lap 23: Hamilton needs some fast laps now on fresh rubber but he's out behind Kobayashi, who is yet to stop and on hard tyres.
