Lap 24: Massa is 14th and Kovalainen is only three seconds behind the F10 in 15th with De La Rosa 16th, Barrichello 17th and Trulli 18th.
Lap 24: Alonso is right in striking distance of leader Hamilton to try and make the difference at the next round of stops.
Lap 25: Lucas Di Grassi runs in the 19th position. Glock is 20th, 12 seconds behind him. Petrov is 21st but it's all going wrong for the Russian.
Lap 25: Vettel is asked to tell his engineers if his tyres are falling apart but he thinks the rear tyres are only falling off slowly at this stage.
Lap 25: Petrov has been handed a second drive-through penalty for causing a collision at the start of the race.
Lap 25: Meanwhile, Sutil is right on the gearbox of Kubica and the pair squabble into the first corner.
Lap 26: It's possible Kubica lost some aerodynamic parts in that off-track incident as Schumacher barged by at Turn 3.
Lap 26: Hulkenberg and Liuzzi pit together from 12th and 13th positions.
Lap 26: Vettel's pace is very good at the moment as he laps in the late 1m19s.
Lap 26: De La Rosa passes Kovalainen for what is now 14th place at the Casino hairpin.
Lap 27: Petrov and Glock are in the pits. Petrov takes his drive-through penalty and rejoins after a total time of 14 seconds in the lane.
Lap 27: Hamilton pits again after getting in another wheel-to-wheel scrap with Alonso.
Lap 28: Alonso is sprinting now and is about to set the fastest lap of the race.
Lap 28: Sutil is in the wars with what looked like a puncture.
Lap 28: Button, Vettel and Rosberg pile in to the pits.
Lap 29: Alonso pits from the lead, handing that to Webber who is running a bit longer on his rubber.
Lap 29: Adrian Sutil ran off the road at Turn 1. He rejoined but with a punctured right rear tyre. The tyre almost threw him into the wall coming down the penultimate straight as it delaminated badly, but he made it into the pits and has had fresh tyres fitted.
Lap 30: Nico Hulkenberg has been given a drive-through penalty for speeding in the pitlane. He is tenth at the moment.
Lap 30: Webber is currently leading the race from Hamilton and Alonso.
Lap 30: Webber is yet to make a second stop.
Lap 31: Replays show Alonso got caught up behind a Lotus and that prevented him leaping Hamilton at that round of stops.
Lap 31: Sutil rejoined in 13th and has since barged his way past team-mate Liuzzi at Turn 1. Sutil now 12th.
Lap 31: Nico Hulkenberg comes in to take his drive-through for speeding in the pitlane. He rejoins in around 15th place.
Lap 32: So it's now Webber from Hamilton, Alonso, Button, Vettel, Buemi and Kubica.
Lap 32: Barrichello pits from 15th place in the Williams, as does Jarno Trulli in the Lotus.
Lap 32: Vettel is back on the harder tyre after that stint on the softs. He's behind Button at the moment.
Lap 33: Pedro De La Rosa is out of the race. He rolled to a stop at the Senna S with smoke pouring out of the back of the Sauber.
Lap 33: Webber of course still needs to run the softer tyres as he is one of the few yet to do so.
Lap 34: Nico Rosberg is eighth with Mercedes team-mate Schumacher now ninth after getting the better of Alguersuari some time ago.
Lap 34: Webber's pace is very good at the moment well into his spell on the harder tyres.
Lap 34: As the race continues, of course, rubber goes down on the asphalt and reduces the issues with the tyres as grip levels increase.
Lap 35: Kovalainen pits from 16th place in the Lotus and rejoins. Schumacher now pits from ninth.
Lap 35: Schumacher takes on the super-soft tyres and rejoins in tenth place.
Lap 36: Vettel is asking the team if he needs to pass Button to win but may be disappointed to hear that Alonso and Hamilton are also on the same strategy and need to be passed too.
Lap 36: Behind Schumacher, Hulkenberg hardly lost any places in that earlier drive-through and runs in 11th, with Sutil 12th and Liuzzi 13th.
Lap 36: Felipe Massa is 14th and once again sets the fastest lap of the race - 1m19.024s.
Lap 38: Race control announce that an earlier incident between Robert Kubica and Adrian Sutil will be investigated after the race.
The incident involved a strange choice of line at the entrance to the final chicane and the pitlane.
The incident involved a strange choice of line at the entrance to the final chicane and the pitlane.
Lap 38: Webber leads by 11.8 seconds over Hamilton and Alonso. The leader is told those cars plan to run to the end on tyres.
Lap 39: Red Bull will of course know Vettel's plans and reckon Hamilton, Alonso and Button are all planning a lengthy final stint.
Lap 39: Webber of course needs a stop for softs and his current lead is not enough to make a stop and resume still in the lead.
