Lewis Hamilton gets the result he was aiming for two weeks ago at Monza. It was a great drive from the 2008 world champion and his win became more and more certain as the Red Bull challenge fell away in the second half of the race.
Jenson Button once again struggled home, but it has worked out again for the Briton as he marginally extends his points lead with just three rounds remaining.
Red Bull surely are out of it now, but can Rubens Barrichello rise to the occasion and take this fight forward to the final round in Abu Dhabi? Time will tell.

Jaime Alguersuari and Sebastien Buemi were withdrawn simultaneously by the Toro Rosso team with 14 laps to go.
Mark Webber spun out of the race with brake problems when a points finish looked possible.
Adrian Sutil and Nick Heidfeld were both forced to retire after contact resulting in the only safety car intervention. The incident between the pair will be investigated shortly by the stewards.

Lap 61: Robert Kubica is going to hold on to that final point if nothing goes wrong on the last lap. Nakajima is still ninth but Raikkonen is running out of time to do anything about it.

Lap 57: Lewis Hamilton leads by a comfortable 7.1 seconds in Singapore with 6 laps remaining. Alonso is a similar distance behind the Toyota in third.
Lap 57: Kimi Raikkonen in 10th is charging hard on those super-soft tyres and has caught the Kubica-Nakajima battle. This is now a three-car scrap.
Lap 56: Nakajima is now 0.6 seconds behind Kubica as the fight for eighth intensifies. Kazuki has been under pressure recently, with a string of poor results, and may feel the need to demonstrate to the Williams team that he can score.
