Just before Ricciardo leapt to the top, Hamilton improved Mercedes' standing to P3.
Ricciardo takes the top spot with a C3-shod 1m17.749s.
It's a personal best for Hamilton, who moves up to fourth on the C2s.
Albon has just slotted the Red Bull into P2 on the C2 tyres with a purple final sector.
Our technical expert TIM WRIGHT reports from the pitlane that Red Bull's Alex Albon has appears to have been having trouble with his seat so far today.
On his next lap, Perez sets a fastest time in the first sector.
Perez has set a personal best in the Racing Point that is just 0.1s off Leclerc is sector one and he's set another personal best in sector two.
Albon has returned to the track in the Red Bull for the first time in a while.
Replays show Gasly taking to the escape road at Turn 10 - just a brief detour.
But Leclerc immediately shuffles Gasly down to P2 as he puts the Ferrari into P1 with a 1m18.355s on the C3s.
It's a 1m18.521s for Gasly - new benchmark on the C3s.
Gasly sets a purple sector one, where Leclerc also sets a personal best.
Leclerc's Ferrari is sparking away nicely on the pit straight as he starts a lap in the SF1000.
But for all that excitement, there's no big climax as Gasly ends the lap 0.410s down on his best. Possibly a mistake or a big lift in the final sector.
Gasly finds time in sector two - he's up by 0.004s on his own top time so far.
Gasly winds up for another lap - let's see if he can lower his benchmark.
And that's a clean sweep from Gasly, who improves the day's best time to a 1m18.563s - still on the C3s.
Gasly had a nice and steady sector one on the lap following his flyer - he did deserve a breather, really.
And we have a new fastest time - Gasly takes the top spot with a 1m18.749s on the C3 tyres.
Well that's an hour gone on the second morning of the first test - not a lot of action so far, bar Gasly's spin.
Raikkonen is now down in the 1m21s margin as he remains in fifth place. Only five of the 10 teams have recorded representative(ish) times.
Only the six laps so far from Lando Norris in the McLaren - quite the contrast from yesterday, when Carlos Sainz racked up 160 laps in the MCL35 and claimed that the team had "run out of tyres".

An initial 1m26.247s on C3s puts Raikkonen on the board in fifth place.
Ricciardo has now split Hamilton and Leclerc out front with a 1m19.140s lap.
Renault has left its day two debut later than every other team, but it now moves up to fourth place in Ricciardo's hands on C2s, albeit still three seconds off the pace.
Leclerc then improves to within three tenths of Hamilton, likewise on the C2 tyre.
