Organisers Hope for 'Legends' Race
DTM organisers are chasing the signatures of a host of former World Champions for a one-off 'legends' race at the Norisring round of the series next month, according to an exclusive report in this week's Autosport

Four-times champion Alain Prost has already agreed to take part in the event, having tested DTM cars earlier this week, and series bosses are now chasing other stars to join him for the charity spectacular.
A source close to the series told Autosport: "The aim is to get as many big names as we can to raise as much money as possible, but we're still waiting to hear back from some of them."
It is believed that the list of star names that are being targeted include Emerson Fittipaldi, Nelson Piquet, Niki Lauda, Keke Rosberg, Jody Scheckter and Nigel Mansell. Damon Hill has already rejected the offer.
Prost tried out cars from all three DTM manufacturers at Oschersleben on Monday and said he was excited about the legends event.
"I enjoyed the day very much," he said. "The cars are good fun to drive. I'm looking forward to the event at Norisring."
