Nissans fill Snetterton front row
In an uneventful BTCC qualifying session, Laurent Aiello and David Leslie sealed the front row of the Snetterton grid for the Nissan team
Unusually the Nissans were first out on the track in qualifying for tonight's Round 16 Feature Race and set the best times in their first two laps.
The pair then sat back to watch the rest try, unsuccessfully, to better their times.
The second row times were also set early in the session, and in third was defending champion Rickard Rydell in his Volvo. Next up is James Thompson in the Honda, fresh from good results at the last meeting.
It took five laps for the second Honda driven by Peter Kox to get fifth on the grid. Alain Menu (Ford), Vincent Radermecker (Volvo) and Jason Plato (Renault) are next up.
This season's top privateer Matt Neal had a less than stunning time, and finished 10th on the grid. However, Will Hoy had a worse time, failing a ride height and then only managing to reach 13th.
