All Ford on the front row for sprint race
It will be an all Ford front row for the Sprint race at Brands Hatch tomorrow with Alain Menu alongside Anthony Reid
In the One Shot Showdown each driver from the morning session has one flying lap, on a clear track, to set a grid position.
First on the track was Mark Blair, but he could not improve on his morning time, setting a trend for most drivers.
Next out should have been Russell Spence but the team failed to repair his car after this morning's off, so instead went Lee Brooks but to no avail as he was excluded for a ride height infringement.
John Cleland continued his bad day, finishing the slowest of the un-excluded drivers and behind most independents; not good omens for his 200th BTCC race.
Vincent Radermecker did not have a good lap and finished an eventual eighth. Anthony Reid, Ford, on the other hand did a good time to put himself on provisional pole.
But he was displaced by a blinding lap from Menu, who completed the Ford one-two.
Laurent Aiello, who qualified in pole for tomorrow's feature race, was third.
