Aiello fastest at Snetterton test
Laurent Aiello set the fastest time at Snetterton yesterday during the the first day of testing
The Frenchman, who is currently leading the championship, recorded a 1.08.042 in the morning and 1.08.243 in the afternoon.
Rickard Rydell in his Volvo S40 followed with a 1.08.394 during the morning's session and 1.08.637 after lunch.
Aiello's team-mate David Leslie was third in the test recording a 1.08.413 and 1.08.702 in the morning and afternoon respectively.
James Thompson, who won last weekend's Donington Park Sprint race, was fourth overall in testing putting in a 1.08.682 in the morning, and a 1.09.165 in the afternoon.
The teams will complete the second and final day of testing today.
