BAR launches 2005 car
The BAR-Honda team launched its new BAR-Honda 007 challenger, the car that carries Jenson Button's world championship hopes in 2005, at Barcelona on Sunday. Live link-ups to the Autosport International Racing Car Show in Birmingham and the BAR factory in Brackley allowed thousands to see the first images of Button giving the car its first public run in Spain

Autosport International is a four-day event motorsport event that includes a two-day trade show for industry professionals and a two-day public show.
The new car, the design of which has been led by the team's technical director Geoff Willis, features a deep underscoop on the front wing and a heavily sculpted rear end in order to try and regain some of the downforce lost by the new regulations.
The car ran for the first time at Silverstone on Tuesday, and then again at Barcelona on Saturday. Button then completed four laps live in front of the cameras at the launch.
"This is a great achievement for the team," said team principal Nick Fry. "Last season was fantastic but the objective this year is to win races. We are really in good shape. Now we have an on-going commitment to Honda and we really are planning to push harder than ever this year."
