Rob Huff leads Porto practice two for Chevrolet
Rob Huff comfortably topped the times in today's second World Touring Car Championship free practice session around the Porto street circuit
The current points leader took his Chevrolet around the circuit in 2m05.719s, further lowering the marker for fastest-ever touring car lap on the resurfaced track. Huff's team-mate Alain Menu had set the previous benchmark with a 2m07.068s in the opening session earlier in the morning.
Yvan Muller was second quickest, finishing up just over a second behind Huff, with SUNRED's Gabriele Tarquini fastest of the non-Chevrolets after taking his SEAT to third.
Tom Coronel finished up fourth fastest in the ROAL BMW ahead of local favourite Tiago Monteiro (SUNRED SEAT), leaving Franz Engslter as quickest of the Independents with sixth in the Team Englster BMW. Menu ended up eighth.
The session passed largely without incident, although proceedings were briefly delayed prior to the start to allow minor repair work at the final chicane.
