SS14, Harvey Weir: Gronholm again

Gronholm's Peugeot team mate Harri Rovanpera was a further two seconds down on Burns over the short 7km Harvey Weir stage. He remains fourth overall, 10 seconds down on the other Peugeot of Didier Auriol.

Joint championship leader Tommi Makinen managed the fourth best time, just two tenths of a second ahead of Carlos Sainz and Petter Solberg, who set identical times. A further tenth behind was Colin McRae who remains a comfortable fifth in the overall standings, over a minute ahead of Solberg.

Makinen lies just three seconds down on Solberg in seventh place and will be gunning to move into a points scoring position over the final three stages of the day.
