SS10, Langley Park: Solberg & Auriol
Didier Auriol and Petter Solberg wowed the fans at Rally Australia's Super Special Stage, setting identical times at the Langely Park crowd-pleaser
The two stopped the clocks at 1m30.8s, with Carlos Sainz a smidgen (that's three tenths of a second) further back in third.
There was never going to be much movement on the leaderboard over the 2.2km stage, but Peugeot's Marcus Gronholm managed to extend his advantage over his new-for-2002 team mate Richard Burns, when Gronholm finished fourth on SS10, nearly two seconds quicker than the Subaru driver.
Francois Delecour in the second Ford was fifth followed by Rally Sweden winner Harri Rovanpera in the last of the bighitting Peugeots.
Tommi Makinen and fellow Finn Pasi Hagstrom in a Toyota held the seventh and eighth places, with Makinen's team mate Freddy Loix and his championship rival Colin McRae stopping the clocks at the same time in ninth.
