Service F - Ajaccio: Panizzi, Auriol tie

Jesus Puras (Citroen) - rally leader: "I pushed hard in the first half of the stage as I knew it was damp in the second half. It wasn't so bad but the grip changed from corner to corner. The weather people did very well. I have driven the car in the wet and I know what I have to do with it."

(Peugeot) - joint second, +14.2s: "There are no team orders for the moment, just to take care. We have taken a different tyre to the one in Sanremo and it is definitely quicker."

(Peugeot) - joint second, +14.2: "I had a puncture in the front tyre. That is the third puncture this rally and I don't understand why. We have orders from the team now not to chase Puras. If I win it is nice, but this is already a good position."

(Peugeot) - fourth, +54.6s: "I was close to Didier (Auriol) and Gilles (Panizzi) at the split but then dropped back because my tyres started to move around a bit. I'm not confident when the car is going sideways on asphalt."

(Subaru) - fifth, +54.6s: "I am really pleased with my time. But for the last 15km he tyres were blistering and it was very bad at the end."

(Ford) - sixth, +1:21.1s: "I can do no more I'm flat out but because of the tyres I have to wait so much in slower corners."

(Subaru) - eighth, +2:38.9s: "I wasn't risking anything, there is no point when I can still salvage something. But equally I don't think I could have matched Petter (Solberg's) time as it was very good. If it does rain, it might possibly liven things up."

(Ford) - ninth, +2:40.3s: "I had a broken EMI at the rear about half way through the stage so had a bit of vibration. It wasn't that bad but it didn't make it easy. I was trying to match Delecour's time, but I can't, no way."
