No plans for Sainz post-2004
Veteran World Rally Championship driver Carlos Sainz has admitted he has no plans for his future after he retires from the sport at the end of the year

Sainz announced his retirement from the sport last month after becoming the most successful driver in the history of the sport when he took a record 26th career win at the Argentina Rally in July.
The Spaniard admits that he will find it strange not preparing for Monte Carlo in January, but raised the possibility of a future role with his current employers Citroen.
"Certainly, when it comes around to January next year and everyone starts to talk about Monte Carlo, then I am going to feel very strange," Sainz said last week. "There's some chance of a consultancy job with Citroen, but that's not something which has been discussed yet."
Co-driver Marc Marti, though, has expressed his desire to stay in the sport, although he admitted it would be strange to be sat alongside a driver that wasn't Sainz.
"I have some ideas, but after two years with Carlos, it would be difficult to find the motivation," he said. "I will do something around rallying, though."
