Citroen cruising towards one-two
Citroen remains on course for a dominant one-two in the Rally of Spain, with the leaders all backing off and settling for their positions going into the final loop of stages
Sebastien Loeb and Dani Sordo completed this morning's opening loop 2.3s apart, having each added another stage win to their weekend tally.
Ford's Mikko Hirvonen continues to cruise to third, with a comfortable 24s margin over Petter Solberg (Solberg Citroen) in fourth.
It briefly looked like the Norwegian might be challenged by Citroen Junior's Sebastien Ogier after a slight error on SS13, but a stage win on the next test all but secured the position for Solberg, with Ogier admitting that the 23s gap was too big to close in the remaining miles.
The factory, Stobart and Munchi's Fords of Jari-Matti Latvala, Matthew Wilson and Federico Villagra are still heading for the minor points.
The only incident of a subdued morning was a second crash of the weekend for Evgeny Novikov, who had rejoined under superally today but lasted just one stage before damaging his Citroen Junior C4 again.
