Charging Radstrom fastest on SS18
Juha Kankkunen clawed back a few more seconds of Tommi Makinen's lead on SS18, but it's unlikely to be enough
Makinen has enough of a cushion to allow him to cruise through the last leg of the rally and still win comfortably.
Fastest on the stage was Thomas Radstrom. His braking troubles now sorted, the Ford driver quickly regained 4th from Carlos Sainz and pulled away. Radstrom's pace has been such that he might be able to challenge Toni Gardemeister for 3rd over the final leg, having taken 30s out of the Finnish rookie over the past few stages. Had he not rolled the Ford Focus early on leg one, perhaps Radstrom could have been in the fight for victory.
