The latest edition of The Autosport Podcast previews the 2017 Le Mans 24 Hours and includes an appearance from '15 winner Nick Tandy

Former works Audi driver Oliver Jarvis, now racing for the Jota Sport-run Jackie Chan DC Racing LMP2 squad, and factory Ford GT pilot Harry Tincknell join Autosport's Edd Straw and Gary Watkins to look ahead to this weekend's twice-round-the-clock classic.

There's also an interview with Tandy, who is having his first shot at winning outright for a second time after driving in the GT ranks last year, on Porsche's prospects.

Among the talking points are what makes Le Mans special, the performance of the cars during the pre-event test day, the different driving styles demanded by the various categories and the latest raft of safety changes at le Circuit de la Sarthe.

There's a detailed look at each of the four classes, with the question of whether or not Porsche can recover from showing lacklustre pace on the test day compared to Toyota, and whether the Japanese manufacturer's Le Mans curse can finally be beaten.

The thorny question of Balance of Performance in the GTE ranks is also dug into in some detail, with Tincknell part of the Ford squad that appeared to struggle for pace on the test day.
