Pescarolo unsure of finding a fix

Pescarolo Sport admitted they are unsure they will be able to solve the electrical problems that have hit one of their C60s, after the car was forced to pit several times, losing third place overall

Nicolas Minassian brought the car into the pits just before 11:00pm local time, having struggled to get the car around the track as it suffered intermittent cut outs.

Team boss and former race winner Henri Pescarolo admitted that he was not sure if the problem was solvable.

"We have had an electrical problem with the car," he told autosport.com. "We don't quite know where it was coming from, so we changed quite a lot of parts to be sure. We will see now."

Minassian, who switched over from the Creation team to cover for the injured Jean-Christophe Boullion, has so far dropped to ninth and lost six laps to the leaders.

He has now returned to the pits for the third time, as the team continues to work on the car. He is currently listed in ninth place overall, nine laps behind the leader.

"Something electrical is wrong with the car," Minassian told autosport.com. "We don't know where it's coming from.

"It is not very nice, actually, when it happens in the corner. Cuts everywhere - can be dangerous.

"Now I am cruising light in the car. We have changed everything. The loom, the dash, everything."
