03.45: (CET) Tom Kristensen stepped out of the lead BMW after his stint and admitted that he felt sorry for the Toyota team.

'I hope everything is alright with Thierry. They put up a good fight, but for us, it does help.'

'It's been difficult lapping here tonight,' he continued. 'Sometimes, they don't know you are there, or see the lights coming and get a little bit scared or a little bit lost. You have to be very careful when you get to cars like that, because you don't want to throw it away. We are doing okay, but it is a long, long, long way to the finish, so we have to keep consistent.
